Director of the Italian Cultural Institute in Kyiv visited IFNUL
JUNE 22, 2015 – On June 19, 2015, Director of the Italian Cultural Institute in Kyiv, Anna Pastore visited IFNUL. During the visit Anna Pastore got acquainted with the work of the University Center for Italian Language and Culture and met with Vice-rector for Research and Teaching Affairs, Prof. Yaroslav Harasym. General forms of educational process of learning Italian language and culture at the University as far as the establishment of Italian language Department were discussed.
In order to promote the quality and dynamics of Italian language teaching the Institute is planning to launch advanced training courses for teachers. “These courses will operate in Kiev and will provide the certification of teachers. It is also important to conduct joint seminars and meetings with experts in various cities, including Kyiv and Lviv. We wil try to implement successfully all initiatives proposed from your part “- said Anna Pastore.
Anna Pastore also visited the Faculty of Foreign Languages, where she met with the Dean of the faculty, Prof. Volodymyr Sulym. During the meeting, representatives of the University and the guest discussed possible mechanisms for cooperation between the Embassy of the Republic of Italy in Ukraine, leading Italian language centers and IFNUL.
