European Business Law Course – Jean Monnet Project at IFNUL

OCTOBER 1, 2015 – In the framework of Jean Monnet Project 553310-EPP-1-2014-1-UA-EPPJMO-MODULE «Summer Courses in Law and Policy of the EU» on the 25 September, 2015 at the Faculty of International Relations of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv started the first module of the course «European Business Law», conducted by Heinrich Němeček (University of Mannheim, Germany).

“We start the project of Jean Monnet, in which you will have the opportunity to listen to several lectures by our guests from Germany, Heinrich Němeček, on business law, – the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of International Relations Mykhailo Mykievych opened the event. – We plan to launch an English course on European business law at the Faculty which will be conducted by teachers from different countries”.

The German expert also noted that each company related to European law must be based on the provision of the essentials of business law. He also focused on the fundamentals of European business law, problems of legal harmonization in the EU and sources of European business law, as well as European law methodology and nature of basic economic freedoms.

The next stage of Ukrainian-German university cooperation between two universities will be a visit of 40 scientists and students of the Law Faculty of IFNUL to Würzburg University. The representatives of IFNUL will participate in the Summer School of European Law at University of Würzburg in November this year.
