IFNUL launched Joint Certificate Program with the University of Würzburg

  OCTOBER 1, 2014 – Students of International Joint Certificate Program in Advanced Computational Mathematics organized by Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg (Germany) had a meeting with lecturers of this course and Rector of the Ivan Franko University Professor Volodymyr Melnyk in the Mirror Hall of the University.

  Rector Volodymyr Melnyk claimed that signing of a cooperation agreement with one of the leading universities in Germany is “a new stage in the development of the University”.

  Vice-Rector for international cooperation Maria Zubrytska welcomed master students who have registered for study at a Joint Certificate Course in Advanced Computational Mathematics.

  Dean of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, Professor Mykhailo Zarichnyi told a short background of the Cooperation Agreement signing and introducing a common course, which can be another step in our integration into the European educational space.

  Dean of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, Professor Yarema Savula; Dean of the Faculty of Electronics, Professor Igor Polovynko; Professor Taras Banakh from the Department of Geometry and Topology; Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science Alexander Gnatyshyn greeted the students with the beginning of the Joint Certificate Course.
