IFNUL Program is among Visegrad University Studies Grant Program Winners

FEBRUARY 1, 2015 – On January 26, 2016, Visegrad Fund Council of Ambassadors approved financial support to projects submitted within the Visegrad University Studies Grants—EaP program. One of the program winners is the project of our Faculty of History representatives, who received support for opening a new specialization in “Central Europe throughout history, from multinational monarchy to Visegrad cooperation” within IFNUL Master’s Programme in History.

Due to Visegrad Fund support IFNUL students and historians will be able to directly listen to lectures at the University of the best scientists from Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and the Czech Republic, attend their seminars and prepare scientific works under their academic supervision. Start of the program is planned for the 2016-2017 academic year.

Visegrad University Studies Grant is a program of the International Visegrad Fund established to promote and support the development and launching of outstanding courses or degree programs at Higher Education Institutions. The course shall be a series of lessons or lectures (seminars, etc.) on a particular subject focused on sharing of the Visegrad Group countries’ experience—e.g. democratization and transformation process, regional cooperation, EU accession process, etc., results of which shall be included in the transcript of student’s academic records.
