IFNUL Rector presented the Consul of the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Lviv Valeria Fuleova with certificate of proficiency in Ukrainian as foreign language
APRIL 1, 2016 – IFNUL Rector, Professor Volodymyr Melnyk during the meeting of Administration of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv with the Consul of the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Lviv Valeria Fuleova presented a certificate of proficiency in Ukrainian as foreign language.
Rector Volodymyr Melnyk congratulated Chech diplomat on considerable achievement towards integration in the Ukrainian cultural environment and stressed that Valeriya Fyuleova set a good example for establishing Ukrainian as a language of international communication.
It should be noted that the Centre for International Education in cooperation with the Department of Ukrainian Applied Linguistics certifies knowledge of the Ukrainian language in accordance with “Standard of Ukrainian as foreign language of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv “. IFNUL is a good base not only for certification the knowledge of the Ukrainian language, but also for its study and improvement the level of proficiency of Ukrainian as a foreign language.
Department of Testing Foreign Citizens in the Ukrainian language and Department of Ukrainian Applied Linguistics have long-term experience of working with international language schools and centers operating under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of various countries. Over the last few years diplomats, including ambassadors and consuls of Great Britain, Poland Consuls, Cultural Attache of Japan chose the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv as a powerful center of Ukrainian Studies where they studied the Ukrainian language and improved their knowledge.
