IFNUL Rector signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Norwegian IT Business Development Foundation

   NOVEMBER 19, 2014 – On November 18, 2014, during the Ukrainian-Norwegian Business Forum in Kyiv, which was attended by Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Prime Minister of Norway Ms. Erna Solberg and an unprecedented number of Norwegian businessmen – about 300 entrepreneurs from 70 Norwegian companies, Memorandum of Understanding between IFNUL (represented by Rector, Prof. Volodymyr Melnyk), Foundation «SeedForum» (Norway) and the International Charitable Fund «SeedForum» (Ukraine) was signed.

   Following the meeting, both sides reached an agreement on cooperation in the field of innovation, including the creation of new regional business incubators, scientific, technological, industrial parks, new jobs and assistance in the development of small and medium sized businesses.

   Cooperation with Norwegian experts and involvement in the project of IT business center creation opens the door for creative initiative students and scholars, who will be able to create their own startups and the University will receive additional opportunities to attract foreign investment for interesting ideas as well as improve the quality of the educational process by supporting individual courses and inviting foreign lecturers.
