Meeting of Estonian universities representatives with IFNUL students

FEBRUARY 11, 2015 – On February 10, 2015 in the Mirror Hall was hold a meeting of Estonian universities representatives with IFNUL students. Visitors from Tallinn University, Tallinn University of Technology and University of Tartu showed multimedia presentations, share interesting facts about Estonia and familiarized students with educational programs offered by their universities.

University of Tartu is the biggest and highest-ranked university in Estonia.  16 000 students are studying in 9 faculties and 4 colleges. This is one of the best higher education institutions in the world that guarantees excellent career prospects, because study is aimed at practical aspect of the activity. 1000 foreign students from 50 countries are enrolled at the University of Tartu which offers 18 programs in English, as well as free education.

Tallinn University of Technology is a second largest university in Estonia, specializing in the study of technology Almost 1,200 international students from 80 countries are studying at the University. The University has 500 partners in Europe and cooperates with companies such as Microsoft, Skype and others. Many students start-up, which were developed in Estonia, later were bought by large IT companies.

Tallinn University is the third largest university in Estonia, where 10 000 students are studying, 700 of them are foreigners. University specializing in the study of humanities and social sciences and offers international summer school lasting 3 weeks. Tallinn University offers programs in English – 5 for bachelors and 8 for masters. In order to join the Tallinn University student must apply by April-May 2015 (www.estonia.dreamapply.com). The applicant must also have TOEFL or IELTS certificate, a cover letter and pass Skype-interview. Results will be announced in June. Graduates of Tallinn University can stay in Estonia for six months to find a job.
