Discussion at the Faculty of International Relations “Ukraine’s foreign policy: gains, problems, and prospects”

   OCTOBER 24, 2014 – On October 23, 2014 in the Mirror Hall of the University was formal opening of the IV Annual International Scientific-Practical Conference “Actual Problems of International Relations: Political, Economic and Legal aspects.”

Vice-Rector for international cooperation, Prof. Maria Zubrytska welcomed the participants on behalf of the university administration, wished fruitful work during the conference and new topical researches that will find their place in the pages of the leading scientific journals in the world.

Acting Dean of the Faculty of International Relations, Prof. Ihor Byk mentioned that conference topic is relevant and important, as well as for better understanding of perspectives for future direction of Ukraine development it is necessary to discuss this issue at all levels.

 Co-organizer of the conference, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists Zoriana Zazulyak thanked participants of the event, who despite the difficult period of Ukrainian development find time for science and support of young scientists.

After welcoming addresses participants had a possibility to listen to presentations done by Professor Hryhoriy Perepelytsia from Kyiv National University named after Taras Shevchenko on “Hybrid War and its impact on international and national security,” Associate Professor Yuriy Bilenko from the Ivan Franko National University on “Institutional deformations and economic reforms in the Ukrainian economy”, and Associate Professor Bohdana Kryvolapova from the Institute of International Relations of Kyiv National University named after Taras Shevchenko on “International Law: Challenge from the East”.

At the sectional meetings the participants will discuss the current research of international law, the interaction of international relations and regional studies, problems of the world economy and international economic relations.
