Summer Academy “NATO in New Risk Environment: Current and Future Challenges” at IFNUL

JULY 3, 2015 – During July 1-3, 2015 Summer Academy “NATO in New Risk Environment: Current and Future Challenges” took place at the Faculty of International Relations of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv with the support of International Security and Partnership Center and NATO Information and Documentation Centre in Ukraine.

The proposed “NATO in New Risk Environment: Current and Future Challenges” Summer Academy is an educational event aimed at eliciting and conceptualizing the evolving role of NATO in a new risk environment. This Summer Academy brought together prominent academicians, researchers, security experts, political and military professionals, competent in the subject matter. The Academy is principally intended for undergraduate and graduate students from top-ranking universities from Ukraine and several other NATO member and non-member states. The participants’ anticipated active part during presentations, discussions and simulation game as well as direct communication and exchange between participants from different countries and backgrounds will be an additional value of the Academy.
