The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia to Ukraine visited the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv
DECEMBER 10, 2015 – The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia to Ukraine Tomislav Vidošević in the framework of his official travel to Lviv region visited the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv on December 8, 2015, where he met with the Rector, Professor Volodymyr Melnyk, and Vice-Rector for Academic and International Affairs Mariya Zubrytska.
During the meeting, Tomislav Vidošević affirmed that his country fully supports Ukraine and its territorial integrity. “We are always remaining your friends are ready to help Ukraine towards reforms implementation in course of its integration into the European institutions”, — asserted the Ambassador of Croatia.
The biggest hope Tomislav Vidošević sets on Ukrainian youth, particularly university students, who, according to his vision, should become the driving force behind sustainable and rapid development of the country.
At the end of the meeting the Croatian diplomat received a musical present from IFNUL students — songs performed in Croatian by the choir of Folk song and dance ensemble “Cheremosh” and the soloist of Folk choir of bandura players “Zorianytsia” Sofiya Tiutko. They sang the national anthem of Croatia in Ukrainian, Croatian folk songs and songs in Ukrainian accompanied by bandura.
