Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Ukraine visited IFNUL
JUNE 16, 2015 – On the 15th of June, 2015 Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Ukraine Mohammad Beheshti Monfared visited Ivan Franko National University of Lviv with the official meeting with Rector of the University, Professor Volodymyr Melnyk and Vice-rector for Academic and International affairs, Professor Mariya Zubrytska.
During the meeting the parties discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation in academic and cultural fields between Ukraine and Iran. The sides approved academic and students exchange initiantives and discussed the prospects of Oriental Studies Department development. «More than 30 students are involved into the Persian language courses. We are determined to double this potential» – noted the Ambassador. It was also mentioned that lecturers and students of the Oriental Studies Department named after Yaroslav Dashkevych are going to visit one of the leading University in Iran in the nearest future.
