“The key position in the legal state performs the rule of law. The basis of the legal state is as follows: all power belongs to the people which delegates its powers to the leaders of parties through legal elections. The parties and the leaders act as legislative and executive authorities; legislative and executive branches of government are tied to the laws of the country and operate “under the dome of Constitution””— enounced the lecturer.

The Acting Dean of the Faculty of Law Vitaliy Kosovych thanked the German Deputy for the meaningful coverage of relevant topics for the Ukrainian society about building the legal state, and expressed his hope that Renate Künast would initiate the course on the formation of the legal state at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
