IFNUL and Wroclaw University (Poland) Deepen Cooperation

MAY 4, 2017 – On April 27, 2017 the delegation of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv led by the Rector, Prof. Volodymyr Melnyk visited Wroclaw University. During the visit, IFNUL representatives took part in the conference “Ukrainian Political and Legal Thought in the Twentieth Century” and signed additional work program to the cooperation agreement between the two universities. Under the program, the academic community of both universities will work on wide range of joint research, educational initiatives, and deepen long-term cooperation between institutions within next two years.

During the signing ceremony, IFNUL Rector, Prof. Volodymyr Melnyk and Rector of the Wroclaw University, Prof. Adam Jezierski talked about the urgency and the need to implement research topics in the field of scientific and didactic work of teachers, graduate students. Both universities agreed to extend the exchange of master students, which was made in the last few years. In addition, the new agreement makes it possible for our scientists to use modern technologies provided by Wroclaw University.

It should be noted that long-term cooperation between our universities was started due to ex-rectors of two universities Marek Bojarski and Ivan Vakarchuk and it brought significant scientific, cultural and educational results which are reflected in conferences, scientific publications and art programs.
