IFNUL signed a Cooperation Agreement with Ariel University (Israel)

DECEMBER 14, 2015 – In the framework of the visit of the Ivan Franko University delegation led by the Rector, Professor Volodymyr Melnyk to Israel on the 1st of December, 2015, an official ceremony of signing the cooperation agreement between Ariel University and the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv took place.

A prerequisite for signing the agreement was the three-year collaboration of scientists and lecturers from the two universities. In particular, during this time leading Israeli politology scientists presented guest lectures to their colleagues and students from the National University of Lviv and shared their knowledge and experience with them. For the purposes of the agreement, both universities aim to enhance the cooperation in the spheres of education and science. It also provides the possibility for organizing joint conferences and praparing scientific publications.

It should be mentioned that Ariel University is the youngest among the eight Israeli institutions of higher education, located in a town near Tel Aviv. It has a student population of 14,000. Most of the university scientific activities are aimed at fundamental and applied research.
