On 20 – 25 October the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv celebrates the 14th International Week of Italian Language with several interesting events. The following events will take place at the University:
On 20 October at 17.00 lecturer Luigi Morano addressed the audience with a welcoming speech – «Il libro come strumento di diffusione della cultura».
On 21 October at18.00organizers invite all interested to watch a movie «La scomparsa di Patò» by Rocco Mortelliti (Universytetska Str. 1, Room 339).
On 22 October at 17.00 a conference “The book as a tool of creating a European identity” will be held in National library of IFNUL, based on materials of Italian collections (XIV-XXI century) of IFNUL Scientific Library. Speakers: M. Ilkiv-Svydnytskyy, V. Kmet, E. Ryabchun-Kabarivska.
In addition, in the library will be exposed such exhibitions: “Italian books of the XIV-XVI century in funds of IFNUL Scientific Library”, “Italian literature and publicism of XX – XXI century” ( Drahomanova Str. 5).
On 23 October at 16.30a roundtable discussion“Translation of Italian belletristic literature” will be held. The speakers will be:MarianaProkopovych,AndrewMaslyukha, RomanSkakun (Universytetska Str.1, Room 305).
