Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland or Slovakia: Visegrad Fund In-Coming Scholarships (Deadline – March 15, 2022)

The In-Coming Scholarships scheme is suitable for scholars who wish to study at accredited public or private universities or institutes of the respective national academies of sciences in the Visegrad Group (V4) countries (i.e., the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland or Slovakia). The International Visegrad Fund offers Master’s and Post-Master’s scholarships awarded to selected scholars for periods of 1 or 2 semesters (with the exception of Master’s scholarships within the In-Coming scheme where 1– to 4-semester scholarships can be awarded).

AUSTRALIA: Melbourne International Research Scholarships (MIRS) (Deadline – October 31/May 31 each year)
The Melbourne International Research Scholarships (MIRS) is awarded to international students wishing to undertake graduate research degree studies at the University of Melbourne.

AUSTRIA: Vienna Biocenter PhD Program (Deadline – Spring 2022)

The Vienna Biocenter (VBC) PhD Programme in Life Sciences has been successfully running since 1993, providing students from all over the world with exceptional training.

GERMANY: BAYHOST, Study in Bavaria, Scholarships for graduates from Central-, Eastern- and Southeastern Europe (Deadline – December 1, 2021)

The Bavarian State Ministry for Education, Science and the Arts will sponsor scholarships for the academic year 2022/23. Graduates from Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia and Ukraine are eligible to apply. The scholarships are meant to finance doctoral or postgraduate studies at Bavarian universities.

GERMANY: PhDs at the International Max Planck Research School for Global Biogeochemical Cycles (Deadline – call for applications twice per year)
The International Max Planck Research School for Global Biogeochemical Cycles (IMPRS-gBGC) in cooperation with the Friedrich Schiller University Jena offers a PhD program in global biogeochemistry and related Earth System sciences.

GERMANY: Studienstiftung Des Abgeordnetenhaus von Berlin (Deadline – December 15 each year)

The Studienstiftung des Abgeordnetenhauses von Berlin (Study Foundation of the Berlin House of Representatives) sponsors a scholarship program that aims at supporting young scholars. The program is directed to applicants from the United States of America, Great Britain, France and the countries succeeding from the former Soviet Union. The applicants should be working on projects concerned with Berlin, Germany or German-international questions or should want to use research facilities in Berlin in all other fields. The scholarship should be used to advance academic education at a Berlin institution of higher education.

NETHERLANDS: Social Science PhD Fellowships, University of Amsterdam (Deadline – в залежності від типу програми)

The research programme focuses on the functioning of contemporary societies and their interrelationships from historical, comparative and empirical perspectives. They are currently offering several PhD Fellowships for eligible candidates

SWITZERLAND: Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships, Full PhD Studies (Deadline – December 5, 2021)

The duration of a post-doctoral research grant may be from 12 to 24 months
