IFNUL is hosting Lviv Leadership Academy 2017

AUGUST 10, 2017 – About 30 participants from different countries, including Azerbaijan, Greece, Estonia, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia, Turkey, Ukraine and Hungary, are involved in Lviv Leadership Academy 2017 (August 6-19), the grand opening of which took place on August 7, 2017 at the Faculty of International Relations of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

For two weeks, participants will improve their leadership academy competence and attend guest lectures on conflict management, market economy, democratic transition, cultural diplomacy and the role of the media and others.

Among the speakers of the Academy are former Minister of Finance of Slovakia, Advisor to the Prime Minister of Ukraine and Co-Chair of the Group of Strategic Advisors to Support Reforms in Ukraine Ivan Mikloš, Professor from University of California (San Marcos, CA) Ibrahim Al-Marashi, Director of the Program on the World Economy, Aspen Institute (USA) Alexa Chopivsky, IFNUL’s Associate Professor Roman Kalytchak, representative of the German Marshall Fund of the United States Pavol Demeš, Director of the NATO Information and Documentation Centre in Kyiv Barbora Maronkova.

Lviv Leadership Academy is organized by the International Association “Free Ukraine” and supported by the Vernon K. Krieble Foundation, the Fund for American Studies, the US Embassy in Ukraine and the NATO Information and Documentation Centre in Kyiv in partnership with the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, including the Center for American Studies at the Faculty of International Relations.
