IFNUL jointly with the University of Foggia (Italy) has started the program of student mobility within Erasmus+ program

NOVEMBER 11, 2015 – Ivan Franko National University of Lviv is a partner of the project within the program “Erasmus+ KA1 – International credit mobility” with the University of Foggia (Italy), financed by the European Union and the Agency Erasmus+ in Italy.

“In order to get more acquainted with the partner university on November 5, 2015 Italian delegation, including the Head of the Department of International Cooperation and Research Giovanni Lovallo, Vice-Rector for International Student Mobility Chiara Porro, employees of the office Erasmus+ in the University of Foggia Janine Laverse and Giulio Esposito visited IFNUL where they held a working meeting with Vice-Rector for Academic and International Affairs, Prof. Mariya Zubrytska.

During the dialogue the parties outlined the prospects of future cooperation and discussed academic exchange and student mobility in the framework of the program Erasmus+. In particular, according to the conditions of the plan which envisage the exchange of students and teachers between the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and the University of Foggia, in the next semester academic year 2015/2016 on the results of the competitive selection the best students of our University have the opportunity to study for a semester at an Italian university.

We remind that the Executive Agency for Education, Audiovisual and Culture (EASEA) and National agencies Erasmus + of the program member countries announced the results of competitions in 2015 in “Erasmus+ KA1 – Educational Mobility.” According to the competition results of academic credit mobility 8 National Agency Erasmus + member countries of the EU Program Erasmus + (Estonia, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Turkey, Czech Republic) supported 16 projects to arrange credit mobility in cooperation with the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
